Each of my organized group trips include a “giving exchange,” designed to connect travelers with those who live in that destination. My model, which I refer to as Pickleball With Heart is intended to provide clients with immersive experiences between travelers and those in destination.
Pickleball With Heart successfully launched with a January 2023 group at Club Med, Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. Its beneficiary was Doctors Without Borders and included a visit to local school, the Calasanz Bavaro School in Punta Cana.

Another type of travel is a women’s retreat: Carpe Dink’em Sisterhood of Pickleball, designed to empower women through camaraderie and connection.
Carpe Dink’em partners with Women In Sports of Turks and Caicos and Girls On A Mission of Turks and Caicos Islands Football Association (TCIFA) as part of the experience.
Now that Pickleball is so ubiquitous throughout the world, I am excited to be able to offer Carpe Dink’em on (almost) every continent to offer unique pickleball and travel experiences!

We loved the Carpe Dink’em experience in March so much, we are going back in November for another week.
Pickleball has become a passion for me, so the opportunity to play in a place as beautiful as Turks and Caicos with a top-notch coaching team was hard to resist!
We joined 41 other women from around the U.S. and Canada for a week of coaching, drills and Pickleball fun.
Melinda, Daniella and Ellen provided great tips in a supportive, constructive way. When we returned to our regular group play, many of them shared with us that there was noticeable improvement.

Learning new pickleball skills at Carpe Dink’em from Melinda and her coaches made a complete difference in my game.
Their coaching style was not only effective, but it was a joy to learn from them because it was FUN! They have a way of teaching critical skills that make it easy to remember and execute when you get back home. I recommended her Turks and Caicos camp to my pickleball group when I returned from the March 2024 camp, and 10 of them will be joining me this November as I take her course again!! I left the camp with not only new skills, but also a better sense of who I am and what I want as a player.

Melinda: Many thanks for coordinating and running our family pickleball vacation in Punta Cana CLUB MED. I have polled all 8 family members and they all agree that it was a magical vacation with the pickleball instruction by Daniella and Mike being the highlight!

I recognize that our family group probably wasn’t the ideal participant for this travel event given the time restrictions presented but I appreciated how you pivoted and put all the kids together at 10 AM. I certainly wasn’t expecting that accomodation but it was very much appreciated. Mike’s insights on the game were great and has certainly given Bob and I lots to consider to grow our game. Everyone’s game is much improved and the benefits of this camp will be evident in the family tournaments each summer on Lake Superior. I apologize for not attending all camp events but it was a little like herding cats with brand-new in-laws, boyfriend and differing priorities. But dang we had an amazing time!
I also wanted to compliment you on the administration of booking and on-site coordination of this trip. It’s a little daunting to hand over that much money when family members are coming from all over the country but you delivered everything as promised. There were no hiccups in check-in, services or check-out. I also appreciated you keeping our courts available so that we would have the access that we paid for. Well done! That’s all for now. I can see using you in the future to coordinate another family adventure.
